"We tried 4 or 5 of GUI tools, and all of them except JFrameBuilder were very disappointing for a small software editor: expensive tools, horrific generated Java code, slow behavior, even generation of XML-nightmare-files, or necessity to bundle huge jar libraries. (Because we write desktop software distributed by download, we did not want any third party GUI files to be configured or distributed in our installer).
Then we tried JFrameBuilder and were immediately happy. It is easy to install and to use, and fast. Generated code is very clean and well designed, so that it's very easy to isolate from our application and windowing settings.
We did not encounter any technical problems and we are quite sure these guys will go on and achieve both simplicity and top quality in the future releases."
